CHAMPS BACK TO BACK!
The Sounds of Concord won the Northeastern District Barbershop Chorus Championship October 20 in Portland, ME, thus making us winners in two consecutive years for the first time since the 1970's. We outscored the top choruses from New England, Nova Scotia, Quebec and eastern New York State. As a result SOC will compete at the International Chorus Contest in July 2013 in Toronto, Ontario!
The Sounds of Concord
The Sounds of Concord is a dynamic men's barbershop chorus based in the Boston area. Drawing singers from cities and towns throughout Eastern Massachusetts, the "Sounds" are focused on fun through musical growth and excellence, both at our weekly rehearsals in Lexington and our numerous performances throughout the area.
We are actively seeking singers in all voice parts. We have doubled our size in two years and would love to add even more singers! We're singing better and having more fun than we have in years. Come grow with us.
